This is my next solo Short Film, right now it is a work in progress. This film will follow a young girl named Erin as she becomes inspired to create paintings. We see as she enters multiple competitions as she grows up and never wins, this is when we see her passion start to waver as she gets more and more disheartened as she thinks her art just isn't good enough. After one final loss, we watch the hope drain from now 19 year old Erin's eyes as she curls up crying on her bed- she feels she just isn't good enough. This when her mum picks up one of the first paintings she ever did and proudly puts it up on the wall. The piece of art, blu-tacked to the wall, morfs into a ornately framed version of it with a plaque next to it proudly displaying the words 'Erin Watson - Early Work', she is now 24 looking at her work displayed in the same gallery she was first inspired by. She see's a little girl pointing at her work in the reflection of the glass, she turns around to see this little girl be inspired by her art work to start drawing on the art gallery bench. The cycle of inspiration continues. . .
